Naming a job
Many job words are built from u- plus the work, e.g. utitshala (teacher), ugqirha (doctor), umqhubi (driver), unesi (nurse). Saying ndingu- before the word means 'I am a …'. A tutor will help you name your own profession correctly.
That is one module. 10 more follow in this guide, with 16 interactive exercises.

Practise speaking

When you are ready to use it in conversation, find a tutor for 1-on-1 lessons.

Practise what you learn

Speak isiXhosa with a tutor

A study pack teaches you the words and grammar; a tutor turns them into real conversation. Doing both works best.
