Naming a job
To say what someone is, isiZulu joins ngu- to the noun: nginguthisha (I am a teacher), ungudokotela (you are a doctor). The opening sound shifts to fit the speaker, so listen for ngu-, ngi-, u-. There is no separate word for 'am/is/are'; the concord carries it.
That is one module. 10 more follow in this guide, with 16 interactive exercises.

Practise what you learn

Speak isiZulu with a tutor

A study pack teaches you the words and grammar; a tutor turns them into real conversation. Doing both works best.
