The -ya- of the simple present
When a present-tense verb ends a sentence with nothing after it, isiZulu adds -ya- after the subject part: ngi-ya-geza (I wash), ngi-ya-lala (I sleep). When more words follow, the -ya- drops away: Ngivuka ekuseni (I wake up in the morning).
That is one module. 10 more follow in this guide, with 16 interactive exercises.

Speak isiZulu with a tutor

A study pack teaches you the words and grammar; a tutor turns them into real conversation. Doing both works best.
